Felicitation Ceremony Overview
A grand felicitation ceremony was held on September 9, 2008, at St. Stephen's Nagar in Kudassanad to honor the St. Stephen's Cathedral Pallibhagam Youth Movement for winning the prestigious Akhila Malankara Orthodox 'Best Unit' award for 2007-2008, alongside Sri. Joji George Mukalumppurathu, who secured the 'Best Unit Secretary' title. Following a flag hoisting and proclamation rally, the main public meeting was officially inaugurated by H.G. Thomas Mar Athanasius, Metropolitan of the Chengannur Diocese, with an insightful keynote address delivered by Dr. Cyriac Thomas, former Vice-Chancellor of M.G. University. Presided over by Vicar Rev. Fr. John Paul and organized under the auspices of the Senior Members Forum, the momentous event was further graced by esteemed dignitaries, including H.G. Dr. Yuhanon Mar Meletius and H.G. Dr. Gabriel Mar Gregorios, celebrating the unit's remarkable international recognition alongside the parish community.
